Bhitarkanika Forest - Crocodile & River Safari

On arrival at Bhubaneswar Railway Station or Airport, you will be picked up by our executive and driven straight to Bhitarkanika National Park. Along the way, you will stop to explore the famous Buddhist sites of Ratnagiri, Lalitgiri, and Udaygiri. After reaching, check in at the jungle resort and later visit the Bird Sanctuary and enjoy your trek to the Hunting Tower and Museum. In the evening, enjoy delicious snacks. End the day with an overnight stay surrounded by nature at the resort.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel at 8:00 AM and head to the Bhitarkanika Crocodile Hatchery, Mangrove Nursery, and see the rare captive white crocodile. From the Dangmal Forest Jetty, begin a adventurous boat safari through the mangrove forest to reach Habalikhati Jetty, a journey of around 4 to 5 hours. Along the way, you will spot saltwater crocodiles basking on the riverbanks. From the jetty, trek about 2.8 kilometers through dense forest to reach Habalikhati Sea Beach. During the trekking, you can see different birds, deer, wild boars, as well as monitor lizards. After sightseeing, return to the nature camp for an overnight stay at Bhitarkanika.

After breakfast, complete the check-out formalities and drive back to Bhubaneswar. On the way, visit Tulasi Kshetra at Kendrapara, one of the five sacred sites of Odisha. You will also visit Maa Katak Chandi Temple. In the evening, you will be dropped at Bhubaneswar Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey home.
